Love your 4b hair

4b hair is a bit more complicated to maintain and care for than other hair types. If you wish to keep your hair looking healthy and strong, you’ll need to wash it differently, keep it moisturized and hydrated, use a semi-permanent or demi-permanent hair color (never permanent or you will lose your curl pattern), and invest in quality products.

Well, 4B hair is a type of kinky hair. Sadly, I don’t think there is a way to maintain it. You just have to accept your hair for what it is and know that it needs special care. In terms of love, find people who love you for your 4B hair. I love my 4B hair and I often embrace it, but it can be a hassle to have it. I have sought help to reduce tension and I have followed this regimen to minimize all the tangles.

Beauty comes with a price and one of the high prices that African Americans have to pay for our gorgeous hair is the maintenance. On average, black women spend about $2,000 a year on hair care. This is not only an expensive habit but also a very time-consuming one. This is where I come in with my simple tips on how to maintain and love your 4B hair. You see, 4B hair is the curliest natural hair type. This type of hair is very delicate and needs care. That is why there are a few things that you need to do to keep your 4B hair soft and manageable. I have prepared a quick guide that will help you keep your hair healthy and beautiful. If you follow my advice, then you can also be a proud owner of curly hair. So, here is the quick guide.

Maintaining your 4b hair

Maintaining your hair is as important as wearing a weave. Weave is a tool and should be taken care of like any other tool. It is a lot of work, but the benefits far outweighs the work. Remember, a weave will make you look better, but your hair will make you feel better. When it comes to take care for your hair, you don’t have to be a beauty expert, but you should know a few things to keep your hair looking beautiful.

4B Hair is something every one of us wants. However, most of us have to settle for less because we do not know how to take care of it. One way to take care of your hair is to reduce the shampooing and conditioning. Wash your hair when it becomes dirty. If you can go longer than two weeks without washing your hair, you are doing good. Avoid using hot water to wash your hair because it will cause the cuticle to open, which makes it susceptible to becoming dry and brittle. The conditioner must penetrate the hair shaft, so it is advisable that you do not apply conditioner close to the scalp. This can make your hair feel greasy. The last step is diligent brushing. Brush your hair after washing to distribute the natural oils from the scalp to the rest of the hair. Brushing the hair when it is wet will cause breakage.

4B hair  type is the second tightest curl pattern out there, before 4C of course. 4B hair is a type of coily hair and is typically densely packed. The model on the bottom right appears to not have any product in her hair and the strands don’t have any curl or coil.
