Qualification Rules for FSSAI Essential Enrollment

  • Dairy Units, including Milk Chilling Units, are prepared to deal with and process – Up upto 500 LPD of milk or up to 2.5 MT of milk solids per annum.
  • Vegetable Oil Handling Units and the Units that produce vegetable oil through the course of dissolvable extraction and treatment facilities, including the Oil Expeller Unit. – Turnover of up to 12 lakhs for every annum.
  • Butchering Units – Huge creatures upto 2, Little Creatures upto 10, Poultry Birds 50 every day.
  • Meat Handling Units – Turnover up to INR 12 lakhs for each annum.
  • All Food Handling Units including retailers and repackers – Turnover not surpassing Rs. 12 lakhs and whose creation limit of food doesn’t surpass 100 kg/ltr each day.

Organizations that have a turnover of up to INR 12 lakh for every annum ought to take FSSAI fundamental enlistment.

Qualification Models for State Permits

  • Vegetable Oil Handling Units and the Units that produce vegetable oil through the course of dissolvable extraction and treatment facilities, including the Oil Expeller Unit. – Upto 2 MT/day and turnover over 12 lakh.
  • Meat Handling Units – Upto 500 kg meat each day Or 150 MT for every annum.
  • All Food Handling Units including retailers and repackers – In excess of 100 kg/ltr to 2 MT/day. All grains, cereals, and heartbeats processing units.

Different Organizations

  • Capacity (Aside from Controlled Climate and Cold) – Limit upto 50,000 MT.
  • Capacity (Cold/Refrigerated) – Limit upto 10,000 MT.
  • Capacity (Controlled Air + Cold) – Limit upto 1000 MT.
  • Distributer – Turnover upto 30 crores.
  • Retailer – Turnover upto 20 crores.
  • Merchant – Turnover upto 20 crores.
  • Provider – Turnover upto 20 crores.
  • Caterer – Turnover upto 20 crores.
  • Club/Container – Turnover in excess of 12 lakhs/annum.
  • Inn – Three star and above and under Five star OR Upto Three star and Turnover in excess of 12 lakhs.
  • Eatery – Turnover upto 20 crores.
  • Carrier – Having upto 100 vehicles/carts Or turnover upto 30 crores.
  • Advertiser – Turnover upto 20 crores.

Qualification Measures for Focal Permit

Producers

  • Dairy Units, including Milk Chilling Units, are prepared to deal with and process – In excess of 50,000 liters of milk each day Or 2500 MT of milk solids per annum.
  • Vegetable Oil Handling Units and the Units that produce vegetable oil through the course of dissolvable extraction and treatment facilities, including the Oil Expeller Unit. – Multiple MT/day.
  • Meat Handling Units – In excess of 500 kg meat each day Or 150 MT for every annum.
  • All Food Handling Units including retailers and repackers – Multiple MT/day with the exception of grains, cereals, and heartbeats processing units.
  • Exclusive Food sources.
  • 100 percent Commodity Arranged Units.

Merchants

  • Merchants bring in food things including food fixings and added substances for business use.

Different Organizations

  • Capacity (Aside from Controlled Environment and Cold) – In excess of 50,000 MT.
  • Capacity (Cold/Refrigerated) – In excess of 10,000 MT.
  • Capacity (Controlled Climate + Cold) – In excess of 1000 MT.
  • Distributer – In excess of 30 crores.
  • Retailer – In excess of 20 crores.
  • Wholesaler – In excess of 20 crores.
  • Provider – In excess of 20 crores.
  • Food provider – In excess of 20 crores.
  • Inn – Five stars and above.
  • Café – In excess of 20 crores.
  • Carrier – In excess of 100 vehicles/carts Or In excess of 30 crores.
  • Advertiser – In excess of 20 crores.
